Rental Policies
Minimum Age
You must be 21 years old to rent a vehicle. Drivers aged 21-24 will
be charged an additional young driver fee of $15.00 per day.
Major Credit Card
A major credit card (VS, MC, AX, or DC) issued in your name is required
to guarantee reservations. You must also provide a major credit card
issued in your name at the time of rental. You may use a different
credit card or cash to pay for your rental rather than the one used
to guarantee your reservation. We now accept Mastercard or Visa bank
debit cards for all car rentals with a minimum $300 deposit.
Valid Driver’s License
All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and must present
it at the time of rental.
Weekend Rental Rates
The weekend rates begin on Thursday and end on Monday. A minimum two
(2) day rental is required to be eligible for the weekend rate with
a Thursday pickup.
Return Location
The rented vehicle must be returned to a San Antonio Budget Rental Car
location.
Additional Fees
In addition to the rental fees, the following charges apply: 10% highway
use tax; 5% San Antonio arena tax; $2.62 per day property tax and license
fee reimbursement. If you are arriving at the airport, an additional
11.1% airport concession fee is charged.
